Chicago-Kent is committed to providing an inclusive community for all our students including students of faith. If you need assistance with navigating any of the resources below, do not hesitate to visit the Office of Student Affairs.
This list is NOT all-inclusive and customs may use a variation of the dates listed. If a holiday is not listed, that does not mean the holiday is not observed.
Recordings for Observance of Religious Holidays
Chicago-Kent will allow students to request class recordings when they must miss class due to observance of religious holidays, including up to one day prior to and following the holiday if travel is required. Students wishing to request that a class be recorded due to observance of religious holidays must submit their petition at least seven days in advance of the absence here:
Students should not contact a professor directly about recording; all recording requests are handled through the Office of Student Affairs. Questions about recording requests should be directed to Dean Abhijeet (jabhijeet@kentlaw.iit.edu). Students are prohibited from recording classes on their own.
Meditation Room. Room C86 is available for meditation or contemplation. The room is located in the hallway on the southeast side of the Concourse level.
