Dual LL.M. & M.B.A Degree Program
Overview
Enrollment in the dual LL.M./Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree program allows students to obtain an LL.M. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and an M.B.A. from Illinois Institute of Technology’s Stuart School of Business in two or two and a half years; it generally takes three years to earn the two degrees independently. This program provides the possibility for international students to select one of two available M.B.A. tracks and combine it with one of three available LL.M. tracks.
Eligibility and Requirements
Dual-degree program students may apply up to six credits of LL.M. coursework that is taken at the Chicago-Kent toward the requirements for the M.B.A. degree.
Students can choose between an M.B.A. in general management or an M.B.A. in business analytics. The general management track has more of a general business focus while the business analytics focuses on STEM.
In combination with their chosen M.B.A. track, students will select one of
four available LL.M. tracks.
- U.S., International & Transnational Law with an Overseas Training Program
- U.S., International & Transnational Law, completed fully at Chicago-Kent
- Legal Innovation & Technology with a focus on emerging technology
- Global Business & Financial Law with a transactional focus
How to Apply
Candidates for the dual LL.M./M.B.A. program must apply to and be accepted by each program separately. Admission information for the LL.M. program is available from the Chicago-Kent Office of Admission and for the M.B.A. program from Stuart School of Business.
