Section 81 Information
Description
This course covers both trademark and patent advocacy and includes all layers of formal advocacy other than trials, including examination, TTAB/PTAB, motion argument, and appellate advocacy. It is hands-on and anticipates interaction with administrative law judges and examiners (based on scheduling with judges and examiners). The Giles Rich Patent moot court team will be chosen from the students in the class, and members of the Lefkowitz moot court team are encouraged to take the class. Prerequisites: Patent Law or Trademarks & Unfair Competition completed or taken concurrently. (added 4/19)
